Shree Maharishi Bhrigu Ashram was established in June 2007. We acquired real property in the beautiful forest mountainous of Trabuco Canyon, Orange County, California for Bhrigu Ashram in November 2021. This is the primary physical location of the Ashram where all ashram activities are conducted. The primary focus of Bhrigu Ashram is to help teach the esoteric breathing Gita Divya Kriya meditative techniques to calm the turbulent mind given in the Shrimad Bhagwad Gita as taught by Lord Krishna to Arjuna. Regular spiritual discourses are also conducted from the ancient Hindu Spiritual Texts such as Shrimad Bhagwad Gita, Yoga Vashishta, Patanjali Yoga Sutras which emphasize on the scientific art of meditation using ancient esoteric breathing techniques bringing inner peace, inner joy and harmony within oneself. Bhrigu Divine Readings also take place at the Ashram.
These breathing techniques are a formal meditative practice which when one engages daily learns to calm the turbulent senses and ultimately calm the restless mind revealing the divine presence of the everlasting Spirit in the form of divine light, divine sound and divine vibration.
These breathing gita divya kriya techniques are simplistic and can be easily practiced by one and all after getting initiated and formally learning it. All are invited to approach and find out more about these esoteric gita divya kriya yogic breathing meditative techniques and learn how to practice meditation in a formal way to make one's life more harmonious, joyful and peaceful.
Bhrigu Ashram also has a beautiful Gaushala for Gau Mata(s) (cows) where it promotes the peacefulness of the forest through divine respect and seva/service for cows. In Hindu Dharma cows are considered very sacred and are an embodiment of dharma themselves. All the gods and goddesses reside in Gau Mata. Because her products supply nourishment, the cow is associated with motherhood and Mother Earth. Everyone is invited to enjoy the divine presence of the cows (Gau Matas) in the Trabuco Canyon Forest.
The aim of Shree Maharishi Bhrigu Ashram is to promote peace, harmony amongst the animals in the forest, to protect the wild life in Trabuco Canyon, to maintain the sanctity and serene natural surroundings of Trabuco Canyon and also to spread compassion and peace in the entire community by emphasizing and inspiring people to meditate daily as a means to improve conflicts in family relationships, at work place and society at large. A large number of members associated with the Ashram have come forward to assist in this noble endeavor to fulfill this global divine goal of Ashram to promote peace, harmony, joy and a conflict-free-life in the community and the world at large.
